Scientific Games is broadening its digital content portfolio by incorporating Inspired Entertainment’s Virtual Sports offerings into its lineup. This move aligns with Scientific Games’ ambitious goal of adding games from 20 partner studios by the end of this year. Inspired Entertainment now joins a roster of notable providers like EQL Games, Bwloto, and Random State, enhancing the variety and appeal of Scientific Games’ iLottery content available across six continents.

Steve Hickson, VP of Digital Games for Scientific Games, emphasized that Inspired Entertainment’s diverse range of digital sports experiences would be highly appealing to their lottery customers. This partnership, part of the SG Content Hub Partner Program, aims to deliver innovative and engaging gaming content, thereby enriching the overall gaming experience for players worldwide.

Inspired Entertainment’s Virtual Sports content is designed to be engaging and accessible, with events running every 60 to 90 seconds. These events, driven by random number generator technology, offer continuous play opportunities, ensuring that players can enjoy the excitement of virtual sports around the clock. The use of computer software to set betting prices ensures a fair and regulated betting environment, which is crucial for maintaining player trust and integrity in the gaming experience.

Brooks Pierce, President and CEO of Inspired Entertainment, highlighted in a press release the mutual benefits of this collaboration. He pointed out that this partnership is expected to bring significant advantages to all involved parties, particularly lottery partners who support various charitable causes. By integrating Inspired’s Virtual Sports content, Scientific Games can offer a more diverse and engaging suite of games, potentially driving higher participation and revenues for these good causes.

The SG Content Hub and Partner Program, launched in October 2023, has already made significant strides, providing games to over 30 iLottery customers.
