Stake started 2024 on a strong foot as it officially entered one of the world’s most exciting sports – Formula 1. A new commitment will see the Sauber brand rename itself to Stake F1 and try to achieve major goals in the next two years.

Rebranded Team to Make Debut at the Start of the 2024 Season

The deal states that Sauber, which was previously under Alfa Romeo’s wing, will rebrand to Stake F1 at the beginning of the 2024 season. The new season starts on February 29, and Stake shared some insights into what this development means.

In an official statement, Stake vowed to change the way a partnership with “elite sporting organizations is perceived around the globe.” The statement went on to say that the betting and entertainment brand will fully commit itself to delivering innovation and “reinvent the concept of sponsorship.”

Edward Craven, Stake’s co-founder, also decided to share a few words on the new partnership. He said that the company was fueled by speed, innovation and pushing boundaries. Thanks to that, he added, it had what it takes to help Sauber’s team reach “unprecedented heights” in 2024 and 2025.

Drake Among First Celebrities to Salute the Partnership

Sauber’s drivers Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas will be expecting to improve their results from last season. After a brutal season, they were able to finish 9th and now, Stake is fully focused on helping them climb the ladder.

One of the first celebrities to pump up the exclusive partnership between Sauber and Stake was Drake. In a joint post with Stake, he added a caption that said, “The Stake F1 Team era begins now… buckle up!”

He also narrated the short commercial and let fans know that they will be in for a treat in the coming period.

Reaching new heights will be quite a challenge for the Sauber team. After all, the likes of Max Verstappen dominate the new era, and it doesn’t seem like anyone can be a challenge to him. Yet, Stake remains fully dedicated and will do its best to help Sauber compete for the championship.

A Leading Sponsor in the Sporting World

This time is not the first one that Stake ventured into the world of sports. The company is a sponsor for teams and athletes across multiple disciplines. In the world of football, Stake sponsors the likes of Everton and Sergio Aguero.

It is also one of the leading brands in the emerging world of MMA. Not only is the company one of UFC’s main sponsors, but it also backs some of its best fighters. These include Israel Adesanya, Alexa Grasso, Gilbert Burns and Alejandre Pantoja.

Israel Adesanya is arguably one of the best UFC fighters to compete in the middleweight division. Alexa Grasso is the current champion in the women’s Flyweight division, while Alejandre Pantoja is the champion in the male’s Flyweight division. Gilbert Burns is a former title challenger and one of the world’s best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners.

It’s evident that the company wants to build its brand image among sports fans globally. Considering there are no signs of slowing down, we’re excited to see who the next player or team to rock Stake’s logo will be.
