On Wednesday, the collaborative efforts of the Delaware Lottery and Rush Street Interactive concluded with the unveiling of three online sportsbooks at prominent locations. These locations include Delaware Park in Stanton, Bally’s Dover Casino and Harrington Raceway & Casino.

Facilitated by Rush Street’s advanced BetRivers platform, these sportsbooks are set to provide a wide repertoire of wagering options. These include professional and collegiate national and international leagues, various games and individual players.

The official announcement follows a successful soft launch on December 27, 2023, marking a significant milestone in the partnership established between Rush Street Interactive and the Delaware Lottery in September 2023.

The collaboration underscores the commitment to delivering a cutting-edge online sports betting experience to enthusiasts across the region. This landmark development followed the approval and ratification of the Delaware Gaming Competitiveness Act of 2012.

RSI CEO Richard Schwartz expressed enthusiasm about commencing the long-awaited launch of the new online sportsbook and casino in collaboration with the Delaware Lottery.

In a statement, Schwartz emphasized the company’s pride in introducing their award-winning product to Delaware, highlighting its broad array of gaming content, diverse deposit and withdrawal methods, real-time cash-out approvals and top-notch customer service.

The CEO anticipates that Delaware customers will appreciate the convenience of accessing sports wagering, slots and table games from any location within the state.

Following a rigorous selection process via a public request for proposal in 2023, Rush Street was chosen to provide cutting-edge online sports betting services to the Delaware Lottery for an initial period of five years.

The possibility of extensions beyond this term will be subject to the discretion of the Delaware Lottery.

Highlighting the company’s overall reputation and extensive experience, Keeley emphasized RSI’s commitment to responsible gaming, quality products, diverse gaming content and customer service as key factors motivating the excitement surrounding the partnership.

Delaware holds the distinction of being the first state to move forward with intrastate online gaming. This move allowed for the providers to offer various gaming dynamics, which included online slots, blackjack and video poker in 2013.

Schwartz emphasized that the expansion into Delaware builds upon RSI’s successful track record in the Mid-Atlantic Region, specifically in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey, where the synergy between online casinos and sportsbooks has set new records.
