Competing for the spot as the top Casino in the US is no walk in the park for entertainment and hospitality giants in the industry. Dozens of the most predominant gaming companies have constantly undertaken the challenge year after year. Yet, once again, the title has remained in Reno.

The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) has succeeded once again. Reno’s finest resort-casino location has now summed 38 victories as the official Casino Player Magazine’s 2023 “Best of Gaming” awards.

The winning Casino is chosen through a survey by the magazine’s yearly reader poll. In the poll, readers and subscribers are asked to choose which national casinos deserve to be named the best gaming brands in the country.

GSR has already won several awards in the past. These include recognitions like the Best Hotel, Best Hotel Lobby, Best Rooms, Best Suites, Best Pool, and even clients’ Favorite Casino Resort to Vacation.

Other categories the brand has dominated are Best Casino, Best VIP Lounges/Services, Best Promotions, and even Best Table. This is all aside and basically on top of being voted Best Overall Gaming Resort and the Best Casino in the US.

The casino hotel is far from striking as modest and unnoticed. The Sierra Resort (GSR) comprises 2,000 recently renovated guest rooms and suites. It also includes 200,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.

For all casino players, 1,400 slot machines, 45 table games, a poker room with seven tables, and the Infinity High Limit Room certainly fall short of accommodating hundreds, if not thousands, of players simultaneously while managing to meet all likes and tastes.

The Casino is a resort. However, it is better known for standing as the go-to spot for world-recognized musicians and celebrities. Music stars such as Kenny G, Keb’ Mo’, Alice Cooper, and The Offspring have recurred to the casino premises in Reno as their necessary stop while vacationing or touring.

The resort has also hosted major musical shows and presentations. From Demi Lovato to Brett Michaels, Counting Crows, Evanescence, Weezer, The Killers, and James Blunt have all performed at the Grand Theatre, Grand Sierra Resort & Casino.

Dozens of shows are announced by the Resort and Casino management every year. The brand’s reputation has continued to grow while the resort remains one of the most recognized gaming spots in the country.
