Play’n GO has wrapped up yet another year filled with success, new launches, and innovative features. The past 12 months have been nothing short for this world-renowned provider. Through its annual Wrap Up post, Play’n GO highlighted how it continued its path of being the gift that keeps on giving.

    Massive Exposure, Growth, and Awards

The year 2023 was packed with entries to new markets and awards for Play’n GO.

The company won the “Game Studio of the Year” Award at the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards in May. Then, it went on to win three awards at the 5Star Media’s Starlet Awards – Slot Supplier of the Year, Mobile Supplier of the Year, and Game of the Year. The last award was given to the brand’s popular Rise of Olympus 100 video slot.

In terms of greater market exposure, the provider had a major focus in the USA. The New Jersey and Michigan licenses, which it gained back in 2022, were simply not enough. Play’n GO made extra efforts to expand its presence and, hence, got the green lights in West Virginia and Connecticut.

And if that is not enough, the company was present at G2E Las Vegas with a stand that was two times bigger than previously. The boosted stand size was the result of Play’n GO having so much more to offer to the people.

Successful Launch of Play’n GO Music

One of the standout achievements of Play’n GO in 2023 was the successful launch of Play’n GO Music. This step was inspired by Mascot Gaming launch on Spotify. Mascot’s “Sounds of Mascot Gaming” provided slot players with an insight into their music by releasing 10 selected tracks.

Play’n GO’s first collaborator was LA’s own KEANA.

She partnered with the provider to create sounds for Gargantoonz. KEANA said that one of the things that she liked about the game was the fact that it “conveyed an ’80s pop-inspired style of music.”

She went on to say that everything about the lyrics came naturally and that the “song pretty much wrote itself.”

This collaboration marked the start of partnerships between Play’n GO and other artists. The organization noted that new versions of in-game music will soon come and that the music will be available on all streaming platforms.

Securing Sponsorship Deals and Making Employees Feel Appreciated

If greater exposure in the US market wasn’t enough, Play’n GO also focused on its global influence. As such, it penned a new partnership with the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team.

This multiyear deal will see Play’n GO’s logo on the team’s apparel as well as on the side of VF-23.

Johan Törnqvist, Play’n GO’s CEO and co-founder, stated that the F1 is among the “premier global entertainment properties.” He also added that this partnership will allow Play’n GO to introduce its games to a new global audience.

MoneyGram Haas F1 Team’s drivers, Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen, will also rock the logo of Play’n GO. It will appear on their racing suits at the start of the 2024 racing season.

Of course, the organization wasn’t just focused on expanding externally.

It also managed to grow internally via its Digital First adoption. Thanks to the Digital First concept, employees began to reap the benefits of the so-called “Flexible Freedom” and work remotely. This concept allowed the company to expand its talent pool and attract some of the best enthusiasts from all over the world.

It’s obvious that 2023 has been huge for Play’n GO in various aspects. With 2024 mere days away, we can’t help but wonder what’s coming up next from this leading iGaming provider.
