NetGaming To Provide Online Games To Ontario Through BetMGM

NetGaming, a UK-based online casino game supplier, is expanding its footprint in the regulated gaming market with its recent expansion into Ontario through a partnership with BetMGM. This move marks the third major North American market for NetGaming, following successful launches in Michigan and New Jersey earlier this year.

The collaboration with BetMGM in Ontario represents a key step in NetGaming’s strategy to broaden its reach in regulated markets. Ontario has quickly become one of the most promising regions for online gaming in North America, and NetGaming aims to bring its diverse portfolio of slot titles to this growing audience. The company’s CEO, Pallavi Deshmukh, highlighted that the expansion into Ontario is part of its ongoing efforts to introduce its gaming content, including popular titles like “Wicked Wins – Fortune Pick,” “Zeus’s Thunderbolt 5000,” and “Fireball Inferno,” to new markets.

NetGaming’s journey into the North American market began with its Great Lake State launch in early August, where its slot games were made available to BetMGM Casino players. Michigan, known for its strong online gaming industry, provided an ideal entry point for NetGaming to introduce its products to American players.

Following Michigan, NetGaming quickly expanded into New Jersey, another major US market, where its games are now available through BetMGM. The rapid succession of these launches underscores NetGaming’s commitment to establishing a strong presence in North America.

Ontario is the latest addition to NetGaming’s portfolio, and the timing couldn’t be better. The province’s iGaming market is thriving, with a significant portion of wagers and revenue coming from online casino games.

According to the FY 2024-25, Q1 market performance report from iGaming Ontario, online casino games accounted for 84% of total wagers, amounting to $15.5 billion, and 73% of gaming revenue, totaling $529 million, in the first quarter alone. These figures demonstrate the lucrative potential of the Ontario market, making it an attractive target for NetGaming.

The partnership with BetMGM not only solidifies NetGaming’s presence in Ontario but also positions the company for further growth in other Canadian markets, such as Alberta, which is expected to adopt a similar iGaming model in the near future. NetGaming’s strategic approach to entering these regulated markets reflects its ambition to become a major player in the global online gaming industry.
