The operator Green Feather’s online gaming license has officially been suspended by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). The suspension came as the inevitable succession of sanctions imposed on Green Feather and other national gaming enterprises.

The operator, insisting on using a B2C Gaming Service License issued in Malta, must suspend all businesses immediately. Bcasino.com, Bcasino. Boocasino.com, Boocasino.co, Galacticwins.com, and Mrfortune.com were all operated by Green Feather and legally under its license.

According to official reports, the gaming operator should have considered several codes of the country’s Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations. Most codes were related to key compliance aspects, such as providing the corresponding authorities with necessary financial information.

While news on Green Feather was confirmed, the license of operator SFJL Holding Limited has also been confirmed by authorities as suspended with immediate effect. The MGA confirmed that SFJL Holdings was added to the ban list and is no longer permitted to conduct any gaming operations in the country.

However, the decision of the MGA to suspend SFJL became effective way before and was issued back on August 3. A Type 2 Gaming Services license SFJL now possesses in Malta is suspended for an undetermined period.

According to official reports, SFJL Holdings violated numerous law codes in Malta, including specific sections of Malta’s Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations. These codes deal with obligations under specific regulatory instruments.

The MGA called attention to various sections which require licensees to obtain regulator approval before making certain modifications to their business operation. According to the MGA, the regulating body would not have approved certain modifications if it had been informed of the full context.

Like SFJL, Geen Feather allegedly violated various codes under the Gaming Authorizations and Compliance Directive. These codes demand that licensees produce management accounts for specific fiscal year periods. These were not provided to the MGA.

Other codes more specifically pointed to the licensee’s obligation to submit audited financial accounts to the MGA within 180 days of the conclusion of their fiscal year. These were also not supplied to the MGA.

The B2C gaming service license held by EGMIT Elite Limited, which conducts its business through its Elite24bet license, was also revoked by the MGA last week. Additionally, Tipster, another gaming operation in the country, was ordered to cease its gaming operations last month when the MGA announced the suspension of its license.
