1X2 Network, a prominent UK-based iGaming software provider, has joined forces with BetRivers, an online casino in Michigan, expanding the gaming options available to Wolverine State players. This collaboration marks a significant step for 1X2 Network, which obtained its Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) supplier license in August 2023.

1X2 Network’s portfolio includes diverse titles, with standout games like Wolf Strike, Maverick Crashout, Eagle Strike and 1 Million Megaways.

While previously operating through a distribution deal with Light & Wonder, a Nevada-based casino game provider, 1X2 Network’s direct partnership with BetRivers represents its independent entry into the US market.

In an official press release, Kevin Reid, the CEO of 1X2 Network, celebrated the launch as a pivotal moment for the provider, underscoring Michigan’s status as one of the premier markets in the US and BetRivers’ reputation as a trailblazing operator.

Thanks to its expansive catalog, which boasts approximately 1,200 titles, BetRivers stands out among Michigan’s online casinos, consistently introducing new games weekly.

Richard Schwartz, BetRivers’ CEO, echoed Reid’s enthusiasm for the partnership, expressing delight in being 1X2 Network’s main North American collaborator and bringing its distinctive game collection to players.

1X2 Network’s diverse portfolio comprises around 200 slots developed by several studios under its umbrella, including Prospect Gaming, Ad Lunam, Iron Dog and 1X2 Gaming. With roots tracing back to 2002, this UK-based software vendor has garnered industry accolades, such as the prestigious 2020 EGA Game of the Year Award, for its contributions to the iGaming sector.

Setting itself apart from niche-focused developers, 1X2 Network offers not only slots and table games but also virtual sports and instant win games. It continuously expands its network by incorporating smaller game studios.

With its recent acquisition of the MGCB license, the 1X2 Network adds another feather to its cap. It joins a prestigious lineup of certifications from renowned authorities like the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gaming Commission, as well as gaming licenses from Gibraltar and Alderney.

Eyeing the vast potential of the US market, particularly in Michigan, the software vendor strategically chose this state as its entry point into North America, given its status as one of the largest iGaming hubs on the continent.

In 2023 alone, the collective revenue generated by all 15 licensed operators in the Great Lakes State amounted to a staggering $1.9 billion, exemplifying the immense opportunities available.

BetRivers, consistently ranked as the fourth-best online casino in Michigan, has garnered acclaim for its extensive game library and enticing MI online casino no-deposit bonus offers, attracting a loyal player base.

Despite rumors circulating about a potential sale of BetRivers’ online gambling arm by its parent company, Rush Street Interactive, industry experts remain optimistic about its continued presence in Michigan. They foresee its unwavering commitment to the state’s thriving iGaming market.
