Gaming providers can immediately expand and enhance their overall offer by moving forward with industry partnerships. That is now the case of Rush Street Interactive, which announced that Hacksaw Gaming will now become an official integrant of its business and gaming structure.

For Malta-based provider Hacksaw Gaming, the partnership has, in turn, granted significant access to the US online gaming market. By activating the immediate distribution and offering from Light & Wonder, BetRivers, Rush Street’s brand in West Virginia, now offers official online slot titles from Hacksaw Gaming in the state market.

To Hacksaw Gaming and top executives such as CCO Gabrielle Star, partnerships have become a crucial bridge to expand the reach of the provider’s offer. Star mentioned that Rush Street and its top gaming platforms in the US will now allow the company to enter the US market.

Star also mentioned that these tend to be the first steps for significant companies to join and explore the possibilities of expanding their gaming offer. This certainly leaves room for further expansion based on how the state market reacts to the new gaming titles.

This is now the second time the gaming provider has partnered with Rush Street to offer its gaming selections in North America. Last July, Rush Street and Hacksaw released their joint content offerings in Ontario. Yet, this recent deal in West Virginia will be Hacksaw’s first US-based representation.

While plans have yet to be revealed, experts in the industry predict that the effects of these partnerships will not be limited to the US market only. Rush Street has a solid presence in other Latin American markets, such as Colombia.

However, the idea behind the partnership is to explore and strengthen Hacksaw’s offer in prime American markets. The deal will now allow Hacksaw to offer its top gaming selections in one of the six states where online gaming is legal.

While the West Virginia online casino industry is not like the market that predominates in Michigan, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey, there is still a high margin of business conduct. Therefore, the potential for growth remains quite evident.

From 2022 to 2023, revenues reported by online casino providers in the state grew from $1.4 billion to $4 billion. That sets a precise stage for a market that is now open to growth with the inclusion of new gaming alternatives and providers.

Throughout the 2022-2023 fiscal year reporting, West Virginia providers generated over $139 million. This led to the state collecting $20.8 million in taxes from these online casino gaming providers.
