Fremont Hotel and Casino has put the finishing touches to a stunning $50million renovation, and it has already seen a steady stream of new and existing players pass through its doors again.

The refresh, which was closely connected to the continuation of another project that started over a year ago, will delight patrons, who will be able to roam around the spacious venue.

To be more precise, Boyd Gaming, who control the Fremont Hotel and Casino, confirmed that the establishment now has an extra 10,000 square feet solely dedicated to gambling.

With a more open floor plan, Fremont will be able to accommodate 120 more slot machines, taking the overall total to 700 slot machines and 22 table games.

Not only that but there have also been a series of cosmetic improvements carried out to give Fremont a more modern yet familiar feel.

The expansion also incorporated updated carpeting and tiles on the casino floor as well as higher ceilings, and players will now have a greater choice when it comes to dining establishments.

Yes, the food hall is one of the more noticeable changes, as it features six stalls, covering 13,500 square feet.

Although this was formally opened 10 months ago, there is ample seating indoors and there is a new patio that has been laid down providing easy access to downtown Las Vegas.

Back in January, Steve Thompson, Executive Vice President of Operations of Boyd Gaming, revealed that the Fremont renovation would provide further validation of the hotel and casino’s status as one of Las Vegas’ “most legendary properties”.

Intriguingly, the Fremont has seen some big wins churned out on the slot machines lately, including one mysterious player, who walked away with a cash prize of $10,000.

Boyd Gaming runs 30 casino establishments throughout the US, but the renovation of the Fremont could prove to be one of their biggest success stories to date.
