FanDuel’s Online Casino Outperforms Competitors in Pennsylvania
Several online casinos in Pennsylvania are looking for attention, with FanDuel making notable strides in customer retention, positioning itself as a strong competitor in the Keystone State.
Surpassing many rivals, FanDuel has become the second-best platform in the market, trailing only behind DraftKings. The evolving landscape of online casinos in Pennsylvania is poised for interesting developments in 2024.
FanDuel, renowned for its robust sportsbook nationwide, is expanding its influence in the online casino domain.
According to the EKG Line report from Eilers & Krejcik Gaming by Brad Allen and Chris Krafcik, FanDuel Casino PA has demonstrated the highest customer retention rate in the past 60 days.
These developments reflect the dynamic and competitive nature of the online casino industry in Pennsylvania.
Securing a noteworthy 5% retention rate, FanDuel has outperformed rivals like BetMGM Casino PA and DraftKings Casino PA. The comparative results place FanDuel at 5%, BetMGM at 4% and DraftKings at 2%.
FanDuel appears to have not only excelled in retention but has also seen an improvement in gross gaming revenue (GGR), indicating potential for further growth.
While currently ranked fifth in The EKG Line’s proprietary casino app testing, FanDuel’s upward trajectory suggests the possibility of claiming the top overall gambling spot in 2024.
In the Pennsylvania online casinos market, the focus is currently centered around the ascent of FanDuel Casino PA, with the potential to surpass DraftKings for the coveted top position.
DraftKings, having claimed the market share leadership in the online casino domain, proudly declared this achievement during a Q2 2023 earnings call, establishing itself as the overall leader in online gambling.
While FanDuel has yet to attain such a pinnacle, it has quietly forged a successful online casino in the state in question. The partnership with Valley Forge Casino in January 2023 proved fruitful, yielding $33.1 million in revenue.
Since then, FanDuel has experienced a consistent upward trajectory, contributing significantly to Valley Forge Casino’s record-breaking revenue totals in the subsequent months.
In August, FanDuel reported $39.4 million in revenue, $42.4 million in September, $43.8 million in October, and $51 million in November.
Notably, FanDuel recently proclaimed itself as the second-ranked online casino in the US.
This impressive growth in the thriving Pennsylvania market underscores the platform’s ongoing expansion, suggesting that DraftKings may soon find itself facing increased competition.
