Fanatics Sportsbook and Casino continues its expansive reach in the US, recently making its debut in Pennsylvania. The online sportsbook is now fully operational in 11 states, complemented by its online casino app, which is now live in two states.

Entering the Pennsylvania sports betting market, Fanatics Sportsbook joins amidst a thriving industry that recently saw a $925.6 million handle. The launch in Pennsylvania is a result of Fanatics Betting and Gaming’s acquisition of PointsBet’s US Businesses in August 2023.

Former PointsBet users in Pennsylvania can seamlessly transition to Fanatics using their existing credentials, with a soft launch supervised by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board for the first two days.

Fanatics Sportsbook stands out with its innovative features, including FanCash bonuses. Bettors receive FanCash back on every wager, convertible into bonus bets or usable for merchandise through Fanatics.

This promotion yields 1% FanCash back on straight bets and odds boosts, 3% on parlay bets, and 5% on same-game parlay bets. The mobile app’s interface, available on both iOS and Android, adds to the appeal of Fanatics Sportsbook.

While Fanatics Casino is relatively new to the iGaming scene, it introduces a distinctive Fanatics Blackjack experience.

Pennsylvania, a pioneer in mobile sports betting since May 2019, hosts major operators like DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM. The state’s online casinos began launching in July 2019, and numerous retail sportsbooks further enrich the betting landscape.

Fanatics Sportsbook Online expands to 11 states, notably introducing Fanatics Casino in Pennsylvania, the second state after West Virginia.

With 13 retail sportsbooks strategically established nationwide, including an NFL stadium presence, Pennsylvania may see a retail sportsbook in the future.

December 2023 marked a strong performance in Pennsylvania’s sports betting, recording $925.6 million in wagers and $72.5 million in gross revenue, contributing $24.6 million in taxes. Online sports betting dominated, comprising 94% of total wagers.

FanDuel led with $394.4 million in wagers and $46.4 million in revenue, contributing to the positive trend observed throughout 2023, ending the year on a high note for Pennsylvania’s sports wagering market.

Although December didn’t set new records, it continued the positive trend seen throughout 2023, where Pennsylvania achieved record-breaking handles in October ($829 million) and November ($934.1 million), concluding the year on a high note for the state’s sports wagering market.
