Aruze Gaming Preparing for Major US Expansion as Recovery Continues
Aruze Gaming Global proudly declared on Tuesday that it has received the green light from 14 tribal entities across the US.
Additionally, the company has successfully acquired licenses from prominent regulatory bodies, including the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, South Dakota, the West Virginia Lottery and the Wisconsin Division of Gaming.
Kelcey Allison, Chief Operating Officer of Aruze Gaming Global, emphasized that this accomplishment underscores their unwavering commitment to regulatory excellence and delivering unparalleled gaming experiences.
The company highlighted its dedication to cultivating robust relationships with indigenous communities, emphasizing responsible and transparent gaming practices throughout the process.
Securing the license from the Louisiana Gaming Control Board empowers the company to make significant contributions to the gaming landscape within the state.
Meanwhile, gaining approval from the West Virginia Lottery and South Dakota strategically positions AG2 as a pivotal player in those dynamic regions. The certification from the Wisconsin Division of Gaming also serves as a gateway to explore promising opportunities in that particular state.
Aruze Gaming Global, the recently established slot machine manufacturing venture, is charting a course for international expansion, with a specific focus on Asia, according to Allison.
The acquisition of assets from Aruze Gaming America Inc. by Play Synergy, a part of Empire Technological Group Ltd, marked a strategic move. The acquisition included intellectual property, trademarks and hardware related to Aruze Gaming America’s slot machine business.
Despite this development, the Asian entity, Aruze Gaming Macau Ltd, owned by Kazuo Okada personally, was not part of the acquisition. The move aligns with Aruze Gaming Global’s vision for a global footprint, excluding the Asian segment under Mr. Okada’s ownership.
More than a decade ago, entrepreneur Frank Feng founded Empire Technological Group in the US, initially specializing in table game technology like baccarat ‘trend’ displays and analytical software for table game operations.
In 2021, the group expanded its portfolio by acquiring skill-based slot machine games developer Synergy Blue.
Following the recent acquisition of specific assets from Aruze Gaming America, Empire Technological Group has established a branch in the Philippines dedicated to product research and development for Aruze Gaming Global.
With a Macau branch overseeing sales and operations in Asia, the company has strategically rehired former Aruze Gaming America staff for key roles in the Philippines and Macau. The brand, with an international presence, is now set to dominate the US market.
