Siberian Storm Online Slot
Siberian Storm Slot Game Review
Released in 2017, Siberian Storm by IGT is a high-volatility multi-way Xtra 5-reel slot with 720 ways to win. The game offers an unordinary payout grid, and payouts of up to x50,000, but the feature set is limited to standard scatters, wilds, and free spins. Even though the game isn’t old, its ice-cold tundra design is plain and outdated.
If you’re more into numbers than looks, follow my Siberian Storm review to learn more about the game’s features and mechanics. Try out the slot’s demo yourself, and don’t forget to leave your feedback.

Siberian Storm: Gameplay and Mechanics Specialties
Experience the thrill of the Siberian Storm slot machine, featuring five traditional reels arranged in a unique 3-4-5-4-3 rhombus layout. With its 720-paying MultiWay Xtra mechanics, this video slot offers winning lines triggered by 3+ symbols of the same type in various directions, be it from left to right or right to left. Whether you’re playing for fun or real money, the coin value ranges from 1.00 to 200 credits, providing flexibility for all players. You can even maximize the excitement with bets ranging from 50 to 10,000 coins.
In the primary game, the Siberian Storm and Tigers bring high-payout characters, offering the chance to win pleasant prizes. Land five “Siberian Storm” symbols to claim the maximum jackpot of 1,000x your bet from symbols alone.
However, the real highlight lies in the free spins round, the core element of the game. This round introduces Sticky Wilds and unique Ice Scatters, elevating the gameplay with an extra opportunity to win extended prizes. Immerse yourself in the Siberian Storm slot and discover the captivating world of free slot games. Play free and experience the excitement firsthand!
Siberian Storm Paytable
Classic Features
The game is poor in terms of features. Wild symbols substitute all non-Scatters and non-Eye symbols, while Scatters’ mission is to add extra multipliers to the gameplay. The multiplier size depends on the number of Scatters collected on the reels:
- 3 Scatters – 2x;
- 4 Scatters – 10x;
- 5 Scatters – 50x.
As for bonus features, you only get free spins. To activate them, a user has to gather Eye symbols on the five reels. The minimum number of them needed to trigger the feature is five. You’ll get eight free spins with five Eye symbols spread over your reels. Yet, it’s possible to collect more eye symbols on the reels. Overall, you can gain a maximum of 96 free spins at once.
Winning Potential in Siberian Storm
The Siberian Storm features are standard in form but generous in payouts. The maximum RTP supported in the slot is 96.00% (Siberian Storm is one of the slots with RTP range). The payout from symbols only is x1,000. The highest payout limit reaches x50,000 for your bet. Its volatility is high.
The First Hundred of Icy Spins in Siberian Storm
After 100 free spins in Siberian Storm, I must admit that the game is not that generous. I started with 1,000 coins and 50 coins per spin. Out of 100 spins, only 33 brought me winning combinations, but with one big win triggered with Wilds – the highest amount was 2,295 coins. As for free spins, I never triggered the feature.
Together with my winnings, I spent 3,000 coins and was left with only 465 after a hundred spins. With a 33% chance of hitting a winning combo and low payouts, the result is worse than mediocre.
Siberian Storm Slot vs Other Slots
Animals are lovable and adventurous creatures, which is why many online casino players love animal-themed slots. Among these exciting slots in leading casinos is the Siberian Storm by IGT. Siberian Storm slot takes a 3-4-5-4-3 reel setup boasting 720 Multiway Xtra paylines. In this slot, you can encounter paying symbols like the Eye of the Tiger, the Siberian Tiger, the Siberian Storm logo, and jewels. It’s a highly volatile slot offering a top payout of up to 50,000x. Check out other similarly-themed games if you like the theme and these symbols. Below, I’ll cover Cats and Wolf Run by IGT and Microgaming’s Mega Moolah online slots and compare their features, payouts, and mechanics!
Siberian Storm vs Cats
Both games are animal-themed slots, but I noticed similarities and differences in in-game mechanics, reel setup, paylines, and other slot features. The Siberian Storm slot action happens on a Multiway Xtra 3-4-5-4-3 reel layout and boasts 720 ways to win. On the other hand, Cats by IGT uses a standard 5-reel, 3-row reel setup with 30 adjustable paylines.
Cats slot boasts rewarding features like Free Spins, Scatters, Wilds, and Split symbols, which are also present in Siberian Storm, except for the Split symbols. In the Cats slot, wins are paid in clusters of three to ten matching symbols, starting from left to right. The Siberian Storm is not a cluster-paying slot, and you need to collect three to five matching symbols starting from the leftmost reel. What I like more about Siberian Storm is its top payout of 50,000x the bet, which is higher than Cats offering a 10,000x top payout.
Siberian Storm and Wolf Run
Siberian Storm and Wolf Run are two engaging slots from IGT that share similar wild animal themes, volatility levels, and game mechanics. To win, collect at least three matching symbols adjacent to the reels. These IGT slots feature different reel setups, a 5×4 grid layout for Wolf Run slot and a Multiway Xtra 3-4-5-4-3 reel for the Siberian Storm. Paying symbols like the White Tiger, Bengal Tiger, jewels, and the Siberian Storm logo are the most rewarding in the Siberian Storm. In Wolf Run, expect to see wolves dominating the reels.
Regarding RTP rates and payout potential, I prefer the Siberian Storm over Wolf Run. Wolf Run has an RTP of 94.98% and a top payout of 1,000x the bet. Although Siberian Storm offers an RTP of 94.26% lower than Wolf Run, it is still a better choice with a top payout of up to 50,000x the stake. Both games are medium volatile slots and offer below-average RTP, but you can achieve a top payout with features like Wild, Scatters, and Free Spins Bonus.
Siberian Storm vs Mega Moolah
Like Siberian Storm, wild animals roam the reels in the Mega Moolah slot. However, Siberian Storm differs significantly from Microgaming’s Mega Moolah regarding reel setup, RTP rates, and payouts. Mega Moolah is a low volatility slot, played on a 5-reel, 3-row reel setup, with 25 active paylines.
In Mega Moolah’s base game, you can win up to 1,920x the stake, but there’s a chance to win in its progressive jackpots. Its RTP is 88.12% during the basic game. But, if you include the jackpots, its RTP will be close to 96%. Although Siberian Storm has a top payout of 50,000x, Mega Moolah still offers better payout potential, especially when you hit the progressive jackpot. Aside from progressive jackpots, Mega Moolah features Wilds, Scatters, and Free Spins starting at 15. In addition, you can retrigger this feature when you land three or more Scatters during the free spins round.

Treasures of the Pyramids by IGT is an Egyptian-inspired slot that offers up to 100 Free Spins and a top payout of 5,000x.
